Nuclear startup powers Nvidia chip for first time in US with advanced reactor

Valar Atomics, a California-based nuclear firm, successfully generated electricity from a next-generation reactor and used it to run an Nvidia AI chip—a symbolic milestone showing early viability of advanced nuclear technology for power-hungry data center applications. The output was minimal, but it marks the first time such a reactor has produced usable power domestically.
