What notis is
notis is a source-of-record notification service. For each name it follows, a curation engine decides what actually matters, writes it once in plain language, and delivers it to the channel you prefer. Not a firehose. Not a tab you keep open.
The method
We treat the notification the way Apple treats hardware: one small box, obsessed over. Instead of republishing a hundred remixes of the same story, every development has to clear a bar for what’s genuinely new — and only what clears it goes out. Most days, almost nothing does. That is the product working.
Anatomy of a noti
This is not a mockup. It is a recent noti from the live Bitcoin record — real hook, real receipt, real source.

- Each meaningful thing, once. Never a remix.
- We are the source — we write it, we don’t aggregate it.
- Every noti is timestamped to the minute — the receipt.
- Sources are named, never linked.
- Quiet is a feature — when nothing clears the bar, we send nothing.
What it is not
notis is not investment advice and not a trading tool — it records developments, it doesn’t tell you what to do with them. It is not an aggregator that links out, and not a social feed engineered to keep you scrolling. It’s a quiet, reliable record that speaks only when something real happens.
Finance is the first proving ground — the hardest one, where being wrong is expensive.
Bitcoin is the first live name. Every other name unlocks one at a time — demand decides the order.
